The Anderson County Development Corporation is a private, non-profit corporation. It was chartered in 1997 as a 501(c)3. Anderson County created ACDC to enhance job creation and capital investment growth. ACDC works closely with the Melton Hill Regional Industrial Development Association to
create opportunities for new and existing companies in Anderson County.

The Anderson County Development Corporation is the organization that is responsible for the development of county owned industrial parks. They identify potential sites and acquire the land that will be transformed into county industrial parks. ACDC works in partnership with other agencies to
provide the necessary infrastructure for their properties. ACDC represents Anderson County in the sales transactions of the property. The Development Corporation determines the actual negotiated sales price of the property.
